at least for six weddings, 2 ROMs and 3 pre wed jobs. that makes this particular pic my best referral :)

to repeat what i've said to many of the couples who don't know why they like it even though they do.

the subject is at the one third position, when u divide the pic vert in 2, they still occupy the same one third placing. half it again this time hori and, presto, still at one third the pic frame. this fits the basic photography rule of third. together with the railing, they will lead ur eyes to the subject automatically. thats what makes this pic ok.

and their follow up question, 'did u do it on purpose?'

short ans, no.

i'm short sighted n not wearing any corrective optics (spectacle) :)
i click when i feel its right.
n whenever u feel its right, somehow or other the pic would fit into some basic rules of good photography.
